Dr Nick Giles
is a fisheries and
freshwater biologist
of 30 years experience
and is a keen game,
coarse and sea angler
(for instance, he
was Sky Sports Game
Angler of the Year
in 1998-1999). Nick
studied zoology
for his first degree
and fisheries science
for his Ph.D. After
a twenty year career
in university teaching
and research, for
the past ten years
he has run a successful
fisheries and conservation
consultancy. This
home-based business
specializes in game
and coarse fisheries
management, habitat
management and improvement,
river and lake restoration
projects, freshwater
ecology and conservation.
Trevor
Harrop,
formerly a London-based
professional printer
is now a freelance
artist and designer
living in Hampshire.
In addition to his
fine quality illustrative
and design work
for Perca Press,
he is available
for commissions.
